AAM is committed to the environment, health, safety, and responsible recycling and as such the following is our policy:

AAM employees are to follow guidelines, instructions and safety procedures for their safety and the safety of others.

Employees must be properly trained and competent to operate equipment at AAM including relevant licenses and certificates.

AAM is committed to complying with all state and federal legal requirements/permits relating to our organization including OHS, environmental, and data privacy laws and regulations.

AAM is committed to prevention of injury and pollution.

AAM is committed to improve EHSR2 performance and continually improve its management systems including its EHSMS.

AAM is committed to extending the lifecycle of electronic products through refurbishing/reusing product that is salable. If extending the lifecycle is not viable, AAM will scrap the product through responsible vendors, where possible breaking it down to its component parts to improve recyclability. We will not direct material to incineration, energy recovery, all land disposal facilities unless no reuse or recycling options are viable.

AAM is committed to providing the highest levels of data wipe (DOD) and data destruction services. We are committed to ensuring data security for all customers’ data containing devices while under the responsibility of AAM.

We have effective relationships with our downstream recyclers and monitor changes to their processes. We will ensure that our downstream recyclers maintain their relevant permits, capacities, and processes. We will select downstream recyclers with R2 certification or similar programs where possible to provide our customers and interested parties with the assurance that their product is recycled responsibly.
